“If Music be the Food of Love, Play ON!!” (Shakespeare)
Congratulations! The following pieces are selections that can be tailored to your event and played by the string ensemble of Encore Strings! Classical music brings class to your special event. Whether it is for a Wedding ceremony or reception or background music for a dinner or meeting, this will set the tone.
At least one month before your event, discuss with the Encore Strings Representative what music you would like. Most times a wedding ceremony will have four parts: 1) The Prelude: when the guests start arriving at the ceremony site; 2) The Processional: When the bridal party and the bride make their entrance; 3) The Ceremony: when the bride and groom are married- special musical number or unity candle; and 4) The Recessional: Exit of the bride and groom and guests. All the selections are appropriate to mix and match. Note: You might want to check with the house of worship for acceptable music and guidelines for you to follow.
